Youth Group Outing on Swan Lake

Thank you to Dean and Judy Traut for graciously welcoming the youth group to their home on Swan Lake. We had a beautiful (and windy) afternoon and evening as we enjoyed tubing, water skiing, games and wonderful food and fellowship. Thank you also to Dennis and Elaine Benson for helping the Traut’s host and provide food for this event. The smiles and laughs of our youth and adult evidence that we all enjoyed our time together.

Vacation Bible School 2010

The first week of August youth and adults from Portage and surrounding communities celebrated the power that Jesus gives us. Almost 200 children representing 19 different churches participated during the week. We are fortunate to have such a great working relationship with Portage United Methodist Church who served as our host site.

Thank you to all those who donated items and served as VBS staff to make Vacation Bible School a wonderful week for our children. A special thank you to Stacy Macomber and Kerry Melby for all the work they did to organize the week for us.
