Bethlehem Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is a member of the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin. Our Vision Statement proclaims that we are "God's Family Serving Christ with Love." Our hope is to live this vision. To be a caring, connected community that works together in serving Christ and the community with compassion and love.

Check out the YOUTH page for information on the 2nd Annual Sweetheart Dinner on Saturday, March 6, 2010 which is served by the Youth and the procedds will benefit the Youth Group.

God Pause Daily Devotion

God Pause devotions are short, meaningful reflections on the following Sunday's lessons and gospel. By Sunday, you'll be ready for an extra meaningful worship experience.

Devotion writers are Luther Seminary alumni/ae. Their reflections are a gift to you and to the church.

The Daily Bible Reading is provided by the ELCA. It is automatically updated each day.

At the top of the reading the link "Today's Bible Reading" will open up a new window in your browser that displays Today's Bible Reading on the ELCA's website. This page allows you to search for previous bible readings and to subscribe to Today's Bible Reading and receive it daily through email.

At the end of the reading you will find the ELCA Home link. Clicking this link will open a new winodw in your browser that displays the ELCA's homepage. Clicking the Subscribe button allows you to receive Today's Bible Reading daily through the email.

Handicap/Wheelchair Accessible - All facilities are located on one floor. There are handicap parking stalls available and the sidewalk into building has areas that are accessible by wheelchair/handicap.

Driving Directions From Major Highways

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is approximately 1.5 miles EAST of the Portage city limits on Highway 33.

Due to it's rural setting and address, you will not find Bethlehem Lutheran Church's address on most map sites.
Please note that we are no longer located on Franklin Street as you may find us listed on some online map services.

From I90/39: Take Highway 33 exit. Follow highway 33 through the town of Portage. Bethlehem Lutheran Church is approximately 1.5 miles East of the Portage city limits and will be on your RIGHT.
